The Gen9 Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) is a comprehensive systems software and firmware update solution, which is delivered as a single ISO image. This post production SPP uses Smart Update Manager (SUM) as the deployment tool and contains updates for ProLiant Gen9 systems.
Important Notes:
The Gen9.1 respin version of Post-Production SPP supersedes Gen9.0 Post-Production release and addresses the following issues:
Removed HPGW Firmware as it resulted in SK-Hynix SE4011-family SATA SSDs reporting Predictive failure status on IML.
Removal of Blade Server components which are no longer in support.
Note: Starting from Gen9 SPP 2021.10.0, two SPPs are being released, one for Gen9 only products and the other one for Gen10/Gen10 Plus products.
